MISSION STATEMENT
With the Squadron’s rich history in emergency services, the 902 Rangers are dedicated in preserving our mission to serve the Civil Air Patrol and the surrounding communities with urban and rural search and rescue operations for more than 20 years.

OUR OBJECTIVE
To maintain a core of dedicated cadet members and senior officers to augment CAP air operations with ground teams to locate missing persons, downed aircraft crews, and distress beacons. This requires our ground teams to maintain extensive training in the areas of the incident command system, hazard recognition, UDF /GTL operations, land navigation, rough terrain search & rescue, survival skills, medical assessment, treatment and patient transport.
