Note to Cadet: Forms shall be procured and the top section filled out by cadet at a time they feel they are ready for promotion. Forms will then be submitted up the chain of command to their respective Flight Sergeant.
Note to Staff: Typically the Flight Sergeant should be the staff member receiving the request and therefore signing in the designated box. Under circumstances of the Flt. Sgt. Being absent the Flight Commander is authorized to sign in their place. The First Sergeant, Executive Officer, or designated Administrative Officer(s) are the only staff members authorized to review a cadets file for promotion and process a promotion request. The Cadet Commander or temporary acting Command Commander are the only members authorized to certify a request. Signature by Deputy Commander of Cadets or Squadron Commander is REQUIRED for final approval authority.
