What is the Civil Air Patrol?
The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the official United States Air Force Auxiliary. With more than 60,000 members, 1700 units, and over 4,700 active aircraft it is by far the largest organization of its kind. For the past 60 years, CAP has aggressively performed its missions:

CAP is a civilian organization; however as the Auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, it comes as no surprise that it is organized along military customs, courtesies and ranks.
So who is Squadron 902?
We are "Willow Grove JRB Squadron 902", stationed at Willow Grove Joint Reserve Base in Horsham Township, Pennsylvania. Squadron 902 is a Composite Ground Search & Rescue Squadron that provides activities and programs for both Cadets (Youth ages 12-21) and Senior Members (Over 21). The volunteer members of squadron 902 meet once a week and on occasional weekends for training missions and public activities. We welcome all who are interested in membership to visit us during our Thursday squadron meeting nights (except holidays) from 7:00 to 9:30 PM. Please follow special instructions for base entry.
